Wilshire Presbyterian Church is a small, urban fellowship (approximately 100 members) located in the Wilshire Center or Koreatown District of Los Angeles, California. We are an ethnically diverse congregation, reflective of the neighborhood that we serve, (the largest ethnic group being Asian American) and our membership is made up of all races, ages, and income levels.

A church firmly rooted in the Reformed tradition, we adhere to the Bible, to the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, and to all of the governing confessions and polity of the Presbyterian Book of Order.

We worship in English each Sunday morning in the “high church” tradition, with a central sermon, Bible readings, responsive and corporate prayers, singing from the hymnal, anthems from the classical and traditional Protestant church music repertoire performed by choir and soloists, accompanied by organ, piano, and occasional acoustic instruments. Communion is served once a month, on the first Sunday of the month.

While we believe we are saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, we practice a gospel of practical service to humanity through our ministries of music education to at-risk youth, the weekday medical services of our parish nurse, and our care of the poor through the distribution of food.
